Arriving at the town of Darudic after getting through the Wostin Desert and scorching sands, we come across a handful of merchants and traders all peddling their wares. Eventually, we run into an unusual individual named Archie who has invited us back to their place.
As it turns out, Archie is a digger that wants to access the Dawn Valley, a place that we, too, want to go. Archie persuades us to join in an adventure to find a way to get the palace guards to remove themselves from Dawn Valley as they have formed a blockade of sorts.
Archie requests that we sneak into the guard barracks, steal one of their uniforms, and enter the palace to meet a contact to see what can be done about it.
After stealthily securing the uniform, we enter the palace and slip past all the guards until we find our contact by using a secret passphrase provided by Archie, who stayed outside.
The contact, Mahmud, tells us that things have gotten weird since someone named Alon, presumably the king or noble or leader or whatever in charge, acted irrationally sending out strange commands, ordering the guards to carry out even stranger demands. Even odder still is that Alon has been holed up in his room, having not been seen as he had allegedly ordered that no one disturb him.
As it turns out, the blue people we saw on Donar Island have infiltrated the palace and are carrying out orders while impersonating the guards. While trying to reach Alon and get to the bottom of things, our cover is blown and we are sent to a locked cell in the dungeon to be dealt with in six years!
Luckily for us, Mahmud comes for us after some time and releases us, faking an injury and stating we escaped in order to preserve his cover. We manage to defeat every guard who throws their Coromon at us and enter Alon’s room who reveals that he had been kidnapped and that the blue people have stolen his Drilling Pods.
