POTENTIFLATION – THE PROCESS

The Potential of Coromon can be raised by using the Potentiflator on the second floor of the medical centre in Donar Island, from Oleg.
The process will require $2500 for each Coromon, and each Coromon can be potentiflated only once.
The time it takes for the process to complete is not based on time but instead on number of in-world steps by the player. The amount is 1000 steps. This can be done roughly within 2 to 3 minutes of constant walking.

The potentiflation process raises the Potential of a Coromon by 1 point, with small chances of 2-3 points. Such chance is higher the lower the Potential of a Coromon is.
The Potential of a Coromon cannot raise above 21.
Once and if a Coromon raises up to Potential 21, it becomes Perfect.

Perfect Coromon have the highest amount of Potential points to distribute across statistics as they level up, making them stronger than lower Potential Coromon. However, it is to be noted that with one of the latest updates to the game and its PVP system, the statistics and the level of all Coromon participating on a PVP match are standardized, regardless of their Potential.

Depending on the version of the game, there is a possibility that the potentiflation process might fail making the player lose money and the Coromon blocked permanently from any further attempts to receive potentiflation.

In order to avoid this, it is imperative to save BEFORE giving the Coromon to Oleg.
Once the process is finished, return to Oleg to receive back the Coromon.
If the process has failed, the player can simply reload the game and try again until success.
This process can be helpful too in working toward hitting the chance of a +2-3 Potential Points to turn a Potential 19 Coromon into Perfect.
To be noted, however, that without the blessing of a lucky star such attempt might require many attempts before succeeding.

DATA OF THE HUNT

* The collective amount of time taken by the hunt, including human error and traveling time, across all 8 locations, is 38:28:51.

* Throughout the hunt, 8 Potent Scents have been used, 1 per location.

* The hunt has yielded a total of 28 catches. 3 Perfect and 25 Potential 20.

* Each use of a Potent Scent yields 3.5 viable catches on average.

* Including human error and travel time, from the time a Potent Scent is used and using the hunting method deployed throughout the series, it takes on rough average 122 minutes before encountering the first viable catch, Perfect/Potential 20.

* Including human error and travel time, from the time a Potent Scent is used and using the hunting method deployed throughout the series, a Potent Scent lasts 289 minutes on rough average before expiring, or turning the method not longer efficient.

* Each viable catch has roughly 89.3% chance to be Potential 20, and 10.7% to be Perfect.

* Including human error and travel time, from the time a Potent Scent is used and using the hunting method deployed throughout the series, the rough average amount of time between encountering a viable catch and another is 63 minutes.
