Coromon is a high-quality story driven Pokémon-inspired (not a direct clone) tactical RPG indie game with 120+ monsters to catch and evolve, amazing soundtracks, lots of quests, and a promise of multiplayer being added if the game takes off in popularity. It’s essentially the mobile Pokémon game Nintendo doesn’t want to provide!
The core gameplay is fun, and we can even customize the attributes of our Coromon through a stat point system, which allows us to make them fit our preferred play-style and strategies – unlike in Pokémon. Oh, and there’s controller support!
There’s currently no monetization, but it seems the developer intends to sell the game for a $2 premium price.
Total game size: 173 MB – Offline Playable

Looks really good and far more solid than any Pokemon game on mobile or any other clone, for that matter.
Totally agree that Pokemon fans will eat this up. I would be interested if there were some kind of social aspect and events. Does the game give any hint that those might be coming?
Well, it is very much like Pokémon, almost too similar. Lol.
Still would try it though, won’t hurt since it’s on TestFlight. I’ll give it a go.
It doesn't look that bad compared to all the other knock off pokemon games
having actual quests and being able to select what stats you can upgrade for each "pokemon" is SUCH a step up. i only played the earlier Pokemon games, and not having a direct quest other than "catch and beat gym leaders" got very stale
dont know if you know evocreo but it was one of the first legit pokemon-esque games on mobile.

i was waiting for this game to come out and am a diehard pokemon franchise fan, a boomer but still a fan, the detail and amount of work that got into this game is mesmerising and I wanna love it with all my heart and free time during quarantine
Wow the manual stat upgrade every level brought me to play this game, in pokemon games, its a hell of a grind just to make customize pokemon stats.
