A Nerdy Moment With: Coromon (A Review)

Oh what could have been. I wanted, and expected, a pokemon clone with some quality of life improvements. What I got was more Puzzle Heavy Legend of Zelda with a monster catching game attached, and boy howdy did this game do a number on me.

Also the choppiness of the video IS THE GAME. For whatever reason, since the last update they did my game has become choppy at times. I dont know why. So bear in mind the game is still being patched and hopefully this will be corrected.

  1. I'm really sorry Coromon didn't work out for you. That really sucks. I'm not a fan of puzzle dungeons myself, because I kinda suck at them, but I'm willing to give it a shot since I really do love me some monster-catching gameplay.

Plus I think the frustration of all the BS time-waster tasks might make for amusing fodder for an RPG Recap video!

  2. Aw, what a shame that the game takes this route at certain points. I'm not much of a Zelda fan, so that would not be for me. And busy work can be fun, but if it's clearly just wasting your time like you describe here, then I completely understand the frustration.
    Still looks very cute though!

  3. Sounds like this was close to being a great little game but they decided to do a bit too much padding with the puzzles! Maybe part of that was them trying not to be too much like Pokemon? Or maybe it was to make the game longer? It’s a shame you were put off finishing it though, especially as you liked it so much to begin with!

  4. that sensei quest somehow don't make me mad. I kinda see it as joke like in the movie there is a character that we need something from and look so strong at first but when the story progress we find out that character just using us. I see it as funny part of the story. But I can understand your frustrations. I really like your review. Thump up!
