    Why has game freak not added these features like nuzlock or randomized
    Well i don't also have the full knowleghe why but I know enough say that its because game freak is Japanese game company
    I recommend reseching on this because I really don't know the bigger picture here.

  17. Nice vid again Ed! I am so hyped for Coromon it looks amazing! I agree with all the points you and this article made.

    For me, I'm just most excited for Coromon because it looks like the best monster tamer alternative to Pokemon imo. I am a huge Pokemon nerd and have played pretty much every pokemon game and loved the series over the years. But Sword & Shield seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of fans and even though I personally enjoyed Sword & Shield (and believe that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was the worst excuse of a game and should have been the final blow to the fandom) I am kind of right there with them. Legends Arceus looks awfully grindy and aimless and BDSP while having some cool features doesn't do much for me since Sinnoh is a terrible region imo. I'll still probably play both games as I put BDSP on my Christmas list and Legends Arceus will likely go on my birthday list but this is the first time I'm not snatching up a Pokemon game on release day and that's pretty major for me. I am so fed up with Pokemon alienating and ignoring fans while simultaneously not taking the needed time to make each installment in the series memorable for anything more than the Pokemon and sometimes but often not cool features. Pokemon has lost all it's lore and wonder. That's why I think we're starting to see more monster tamer games crawl out of the woodwork and challenge Pokemon. People are fed up that Pokemon has largely dominated the genre for so long but no longer delivers quality games. There wasn't much option in terms of an alternative to Pokemon for a long time.

    That's what makes me most excited for Coromon. The devs have clearly taken an exceptionally long time to fine-tune the game and it shows. All of the features the game has are so appealing to me and it just seems like a culmination of years of frustration of being ignored by Pokemon devs turned into a game that successfully grants the wishes of the fandom and gives players what they've been yearning for…finally. Coromon is the future of monster taming and the more games we get like it and Temtem or DokeV and more the more pressure Pokemon may finally feel to start listening and also improve their games instead of pumping out basically hollow advertisements being masked as games each generation.

    Edit: to elaborate further, Pokemon suffers to know what it's fanbase is whereas Coromon knows exactly what kind of fans it's trying to appeal to which will make for a much superior experience since the game isn't being pulled in multiple directions leaving the result feeling like it's lacking many elements.

  18. I don't know why Nintendo doesn't innovate Pokemon either. At this point I've given up on waiting for them to add features to appeal to their legion of older fans. At this point I don't think we can expect Nintendo to change Pokemon in any meaningful way. We're approaching gen 9 and pokemon customization is still limited to one held item, 4 moves and IVs/EVs. When compared to the amount of depth of something like Monster Sanctuary it really shows how Pokemon has changed.

  20. My three main reasons for loving Coromon:
    1: Potential. Such a simple thing, but such a massive gamechanger. Forget shinies and all that, Perfect forms that are actually useful? Yes, please.
    2: Battle Move system. Familiar and intuitive, but the ability to just pick and change the moves that your mon knows and should remember (no move relearner) felt like another brilliant detail to add to such a common formula.
    3: Artstyle. I'm a sucker for pixelart and Coromon's is just so clear and vibrant that I can't help being drawn to it. From the world, to the sprites (the mon designs are also amazing) to the attacks and the battle background, it's all beautiful.
